Christine Heegaard studied and practiced mosaic in Ravenna in Italy, and in the USA for more than 10 years. She is a member of S.A.M.A. (Society of American Mosaic Artists), of B.A.M.M. (Bristish Association for Modern Mosaic), and of the Ateliers d'art de France

Back in France in November 2004, she settled with her family in Rennes where mosaic is already well known thanks to Odorico's work.
